Etruria Valley Link Road

This complex and crucial infrastructure project is the final piece in the Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone jigsaw. Creating a new 1.2km road between Wolstanton junction of the A500 through to Festival Park, it helped to unlock unused employment land and enabled the full development of Etruria Valley which sits within the Enterprise Zone.

The improved transport link will significantly reduce congestion on the A500 and A53, two of the main arterial roads through the city, reducing journey times for commuters, businesses and transport providers.  Other benefits include significant improvements to air quality in two hot spots and greater connectivity between the M6, A500 to Etruria and the city centre.
